About Lynella
LYNELLA:
My parents, who served in pastorates and then founded a mission, instilled in me passion for evangelism and discipleship. Employment at Moody Bible Institute and at a music publisher provided invaluable experience. I graduated from Moody (1970) and became a faith-supported missionary at Drive-In Ministries as administrative assistant. In 1976 I married the founder of Missionary TECH Team (DBA TECH Team Advantage) and God brought me to serve alongside Birne. I’ve been involved in hospitality of missionaries, extensive Mission travel and, after home schooling our sons, have served in the Business Office and wherever needed. It’s a blessing to serve on our church missions committee, ladies Bible study facilitator and small groups in our home, and mentoring women.
BIRNE:
As a pastor’s son Birne developed the vision for a mission that would support other missions and Christian workers with Technical helps. After serving in Alaska with InterAct Ministries and as a professor at LeTourneau University he founded Missionary TECH Team (TECH Team Advantage) in 1968. Birne went to his eternal reward on March 7, 2025, at the age of 87, and is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
