Did you know 3D printing can be used as a ministry tool?
Our ministry was built on providing technical needs to churches, Christian camps, and
many other ministries. We would be negligent if we overlooked opportunities that 3D printing
technology can provide for ministries!
Although representing TECH at events and meetings is not a direct benefit to the clients we serve, it is still an important aspect. Especially when it comes to letting others know how we can help their church or mission organization save ministry dollars!
We first considered having a 3D printer because we thought it would be a unique way to spark interest in our display table! This would hopefully lead to us having conversations about the services we provide for like-minded Christian organizations.
This, of course, expanded into us actually creating 3D printing products for clients!
Our first client was seedplayers.org. We printed hundreds of cases for devices (below) that have
an audio version of the Bible in various languages and are sent to countries around the world!
Our second client was ourselves. We print these popular folding phone stands as a giveaway item at our display tables.
To purchase these from a commercial supplier would cost us more than double what it cost us to do them in-house. And, some parts of our displays are now printed in-house on a 3D printer as well as other tools used in the Media Solutions department!
We anticipate a large number of clients benefiting from these displays!
We now have four 3D printers at work! Two filament printers, and two resin printers. We don’t know what is in store for the future, but we will always seek to use the technology available if it helps advance the kingdom of God!
