Why did we create the TECH Team blog?

TECH has been prayerfully seeking direction from the Lord in regards to the path He desires for us to walk. We desire above all else to bring Him glory, and we want to honor Him in all of our ways. Having served mission for 50+ years, we enter into this new decade confident He is not finished with us. He has affirmed that our services at TECH are desperately needed by those spreading the Gospel through their unique ministry. We have been pressed on in faith with the hope of being flexible and open to change…whatever it may be!

A few years ago, we began feeling the Lord prompting us to position ourselves strategically. This would allow us to serve even more organizations, so we began praying for guidance. This led to us filing a DBA and changing our name from Missionary TECH Team to TECH Team Advantage. From there, we developed a marketing plan and redesigned our website from scratch! We then began stepping into unfamiliar territory trusting that God would continue to point us in the right direction.

The world around us continues to change. It is our hope and prayer that we continue to delight God by being a faithful steward of our resources. We long to remain flexible and to seek His wisdom as we make decisions that look very different from the way we have always done things here at TECH. There is no doubt God still has plans for this ministry! We hope to be intentional about securing TECH’s legacy so we can continue serving and making an impact for eternity for another 50 years!

Our team believes God is calling us to take risks, step out of our comfort zone into unfamiliar places, and ultimately trust Him with the outcome…whatever it may be! We also believe God has graciously allowed us to be a valuable resource for other organizations seeking to advance His Kingdom here on earth. As a result, we’ve been looking for ways to take what He has given us to the next level. We plan on doing this by trusting Him and pursuing what we believe He is placing before us.

The TECH Team Blog

After a lot of brainstorming and even more prayers, we are excited to announce we have a TECH Team blog.

We long for the TECH Team blog to be a tool others can use! We want to make our resources easily accessible to mission organizations and ministries in need of technical support as we aim to glorify God and make disciples of Jesus Christ!

As members of the Body of Christ, we want to give generously and cheerfully. We seek to make an eternal impact, together!

The TECH Team blog will be replacing our mailing! Because we want to remain open to the Holy Spirit’s movement in this ministry, we understand there may be times when God asks us to share a story He has given us with our supporters through direct mail. Our hope is to be obedient and to recognize those moments as they come! We are keeping that door open and will be eager to walk through it if/when we feel it would bring God the greatest amount of glory!

Thank you for sticking close as we navigate the unknown. Thank you for walking alongside us as we seek to bring delight to God through TECH Team Advantage! We would not be where we are today without our supporters. It is new territory for all of us, but we are glad to have you in our corner! Thank you for trusting our leadership team as they trust the Lord to lead us down the path He sees best fit!
