Donate
to Missionary TECH Team OR to a missionary staff member
[one_half last=”no” class=”” id=””]Why Donate to TECH:
Missionary TECH Team is a non-profit service organization. We do charge a ministry-based fee for our services but only to help cover overhead. A larger part of day-to-day operating costs are met by pledges and gifts from churches, individuals and other interested organizations. If you choose you can give to the general fund or to specific project areas defined in the drop downs provided.[/one_half] [one_half last=”yes” class=”” id=””]
Why Donate to TECH Missionary Staff:
TECH Team’s missionary staff are actively following Jesus, are like-minded with MTT’s beliefs and have dedicated our time, talents and training to our Lord Jesus Christ for His service. We receive our income through pledge donations to our ministry assignments. We do not receive our pay from TECH’s funds but from others that support us, either through love gifts or ongoing support. [/one_half]
Missionary TECH Team is an IRS 501(c)(3) not for profit religious organization. As such, your contribution to us may be tax deductible. Please be sure to provide us with your mailing address information so that we may mail you a contribution receipt by regular postal mail.
How To Donate
You may donate through your estate planning, through a single gift, or a recurring donation. Recurring donations can be done through an ETF (see below) or through PayPal.
[toggle title=”Combined Estate Planning – A Gift Through Your Estate” open=”no”] Include us in your Will or Trust ~ to family and heirsA gift that incurs little to no cost during your lifetime – but can reap tremendous tax benefits at your passing!
Gifts from the estates of friends of TECH, what are referred to as “testamentary gifts” are always a blessing to us, whether your gift is given for our general purposes or for a specific purpose you envision.
While such gifts often take the form of simple beneficiary designations in wills or trusts, they can also be accomplished by means of a direct transfer from qualified retirement plans such as 401K’s and IRA’s. Any gift should always be entered into after careful thought and prayer – and in the presence of qualified counsel. While many planning techniques would seem “good” to you, it is important that you settle upon that planning method that is deemed “best” in and for your unique situation – and that is the role qualified, like-minded counselors can play.
As your Advisors will confirm, estate gifts are very common and do not alter your present lifestyle in any way. Best of all, because no assets pass to TECH until your home going, any such programming described above can be easily changed, or even eliminated, as your situation may dictate. If estate gifts to TECH are part of your plan, TECH would appreciate having knowledge of that, for simple information purposes, and always held in the strictest confidence. Again, thank you and God bless you!
How It Works:
► Include a bequest to TECH in your will or trust
► Make your bequest unrestricted or direct it to a specific purpose
► Indicate a specific amount or percentage of the balance remaining in your estate or trust
► Change the beneficiary designation of your life insurance, or your IRA, or 401K plan to TECH, preserving a good portion of your estate value!
Benefits:
► Your assets remain in your control during your lifetime
► You can modify your gifts to address changing circumstances
► You leave a legacy to help further the kingdom of heaven

The benefits of automatic transfers
- Increased safety: No check is in the mail and your transfer is secure.
- Less expensive: Your EFT contributions cost less in bank fees than contributions by PayPal or credit card, so your giving goes farther.
- More efficient: Your missionary can stay focused on ministry because your contributions are regular and reliable.
- More effective: In the time it takes to process a few checks, your EFT and hundreds of others can be processed, helping free missionaries for other ministries.
Questions and Answers about an ETF
[accordian] [toggle title=”ETF FAQ” open=”no”]Why should I choose EFT over recurring credit card gifts or PayPal?
Many donors choose EFT when they learn that credit card transaction fees and PayPal fees as much as 5 percent of each gift are charged to missionary accounts. (Partners still receive a tax-deductible receipt for the full amount of the gift.)
Why should I choose EFT over my bank’s bill-pay service?
You should choose the method for giving that best serves you. While bill-paying services provide you with similar benefits to EFTs, they are more time-consuming and costly for Missionary TECH Team to process. Because bill-pay service checks arrive without the mail-in portion of your monthly receipt, each one must be processed by hand, a process that often takes longer than processing a check, and far longer than processing an EFT contribution. In addition, banks charge the check processing fee, which is higher than the EFT fee. Giving by EFT instead of a bill-pay service frees resources for ministry.
How will I keep track of my gifts if you’re deducting them automatically?
You will continue to receive monthly receipts for tax purposes, which includes the year-to-date giving.
When will monthly contributions be deducted from my account?
All EFT contributions are deducted around the 8th of every month. They may be deducted a day or two later if the date falls on a weekend or bank holiday or if the bank delays in debiting your account.
Can I set up EFT giving online?
For your protection, we require your signature before we begin transferring money from your bank account. Therefore, we ask that you print out the EFT form and either mail it or fax it to us.
Can I give quarterly or annually by EFT?
Automatic contributions are available only for monthly gifts.
How do I change my EFT giving?
Please let us know in writing if you change banks, so you can continue your involvement. You can also make changes such as adding a missionary’s ministry or a project, or increasing or decreasing the amount you give.
What if you make a mistake?
Contact our Business Office at 903-757-4530 and we will promptly correct any error.
How do I find out my financial institution routing number?
It is the 9 digit number on your check or deposit slips.
